Jamdani is primarily known and celebrated for its rich cultural heritage, Jamdani is recognized for its fine muslin base adorned with meticulously woven patterns. These patterns are created using the supplementary weft technique, where the designs appear to float on the fabric.

Jamdani weaving is a labour-intensive process, requiring great skill and patience, often taking weeks to complete a single piece. Jamdani is highly regarded in the world of fashion and textiles, symbolizing elegance and tradition.

Fabric Care

- Our garments should be washed separately by hand

- Please avoid using fabric softeners, bleach or starch. Use a mild detergent - soak garments in room temperature water with the detergent

- Coloured and naturally dyed pieces will leave some colour in the first couple of washes which is normal for hand-dyed fabrics

- Variations in colour, texture and thickness are part of the uniqueness and natural beauty of handcrafted textiles

- Iron on low heat

- Do not dry under direct sunlight, they can be hung under the shade while flipped inside out

- Warm iron if required
